The second portion of our Vision Statement reads, “Covenant Lutheran Church is powerful in prayer, claiming the promises of God
while lifting up to the Lord our mission, members, friends, community and world.”
Prayer is talking to God! {In your own words.}
I will pray for:
1. Family and friends of Dawn Storm who went home to heaven on Friday, July 16.
2. Receiving treatment for cancer - Jeanette Laesch, Bonnie Gellert, Chris Johnson, brother of Joel Johnson, Carolyn Kramer,
Ruth White, Dennis Winn, brother of Rick Winn, Geraldine, mother of Kenyatta Lindsey.
3. Long-term care needs - Ken Brehmer, Arlene Kloth, Jadee Krueger, Pam Mente, Orel Schultz, Todd Schmidt, Erv Braatz,
Jordan Brandt, Ken Bernhardt, father of Jennifer Charles, Maureen Neuser, daughter of Rosie Wold, Fermaine Jean
Charles, mother of Faulkner.
4. The president and other elected leaders of our nation, state, and communities. The men and women who serve our country
in the Armed Forces, especially those deployed to Iraq & Afghanistan.
5. The lost in our community as we seek to reach out and connect people to Jesus; missionaries around the world including
David and Valerie Federwitz in Ghana.
6. Thanksgiving to God for a safe trip home from the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
7. Marcia Rosynek as she celebrates 15 years of faithful service as the Director of our Child Care Center.

| Do you like to visit with friends? Monday evenings a team meets at 6:30 p.m. at church and talks to the Lord about the needs of others and also prays with Him for answering our requests. The prayer team consists of Roger and Jeanette Laesch, Judy Omet, Marge Sinn, Pastor & Micki Hauser, Don Gutknecht, Mary Miller, and Jane Buck. The Pastor gives us a prayer list and together we bring the needs to the Lord. You are invited to join us any Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. |
