FOUNDATION NEWS

The Covenant Lutheran Foundation was established to receive gifts, bequests, and memorials to Covenant.  The goal of the
Foundation is to manage these funds to the glory of God and for the good of His kingdom.  The  Foundation currently has funds in
the amount of $192,769

Covenant members are encouraged to support our Foundation.  Do you have a will?  Have you included     Covenant or another of
our Lutheran institutions such as Milwaukee Lutheran High School or Concordia         University Wisconsin in your will?  When
doing your estate planning or updating your will, please consider     leaving a portion of your estate for the work of God’s kingdom.
One of our members said to me years ago, “Pastor, I tithed during my life and I’m going to tithe at my death!”  And when this man
died, he left Covenant $25,000.  What a wonderful example for all of us!

At the June meeting, the Covenant Foundation issued scholarship grants to two students who are pursuing     careers in church
work.  The students are Sara Braatz - Concordia University, Seward - Lutheran Elementary       Education;  Andrew Voigt -
Concordia University, Wisconsin - Lutheran Secondary Education.
