ALTAR FLOWERS are given to the glory of God by Bill & Gail Young in celebration of the birthday of their daughter, Sara.
PRAYER REQUESTS: If you have a prayer request to include in the worship prayers today, please speak with the pastor before
the service. If you wish to have someone pray with you individually, a Prayer Team volunteer will be available after the worship
service at the pulpit. A Gold Prayer Request Jar is in the narthex for prayers to be addressed every Monday night. You may also
put your prayer request on the Prayer Chain by contacting Nancy Keck. Requests remain on the prayer list for four weeks.
STEPHEN MINISTERS are caring Christian friends who listen, understand, accept, and pray for and with care receivers working
through a crisis or challenge such as divorce, grief, loss of a job, hospitalization, relocation, or loneliness. If you or someone you
know could benefit from the care of a Stephen Minister, contact Jim Newton.
PARKING LOT FUND: The balance owed on our line of credit with LCEF is approximately $43,000. Please help us to repay
LCEF through the Parking Lot Fund. Envelopes for this special fund are available in the narthex.
TENDER CARE is available for children age 6 weeks to four years during Family Education Hour and the late service on
Sundays in the Lower Fellowship Hall. Covenant provides this free service allowing parents to attend a Bible study and/or attend
the church service uninterrupted by their child.
CRY ROOM AVAILABLE: Parents please remember that the Cry Room is available for your child during the worship service.
Remember that the Cry Room is not a place for children to play but a place to take your child if he or she is crying, loud, or
disturbing the worship of the people around you. Thank you.
EASTER CHOIR: Dr. Kosche will direct the Easter Choir. Rehearsals will be held on Thursday, March 18 & 25 at 7:00 p.m..
The choir will sing Easter morning at both the 7:00 a.m. & 8:30 a.m. services. All are welcome to join the Easter Choir!
LENTEN SERVICES: The Lenten midweek series this year is “Our Savior’s Wounded Body”. Services are held at 11:00 a.m.
& 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday in Lent. We will reflect on the sacrifice that Christ Jesus made for us as He offered his life for our
sins. Our theme this Wednesday will be “The Savior’s Side” (The death of Jesus.) Jn 19:28-35.
LENTEN SUPPER: A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. each Wednesday in Lent. The menu for March 17 will include
lasagna, garlic bread, dessert, and beverage.
COMEDY SPORTZ: The High school you are invited to attend an improve comedy show called Comedy Sportz on March 27 at
3:00 p.m. It is located downtown Milwaukee. Cost: $7.00. Please sign up on opportunity board or email Jennifer Charles if you
are interested. Parents will be needed to help drive.
PASTOR’S OFFICE HOURS: The best time to reach Pastor Voigt in the office is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to
12 Noon. In an emergency, please call any time.
NYG 2010 FUNDRAISER RED ENVELOPES: There are red envelopes hung on the board outside the coat room for people to
take and fill with the $ amount found on the outside of the envelope. For instance, if someone takes # 42, they will put in $42. If
all are filled, the youth will raise $10,000 to be split between the 12 that are attending the NYG. Please write your name on the
envelope, if you want credit for your contribution. Also indicated is what you will be receiving from a youth, as a sponsor to the
group, whether it is a postcard, email, or special dinner. Check out the board for more details.
MISSION OF CHRIST SERVANT EVENT: Volunteers are needed to help with food distribution on Saturday, March 20. We
will meet at Covenant at 8:30 a.m. to carpool to Mission of Christ. Please join us and discover the joy of serving!
CANDY FOR EGG HUNT: We need candy, stuffed animals, and toys for this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. Please bring donations to
the church office. Thank you.
THE MLHS SHRIMP DINNER is on Friday, March 26, from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are adults - $15; children (10 & under)

JOB SEEKERS: Faith Lutheran, W172 N11187 Division Rd. - Germantown, will be starting up a group to share job search

NATIONAL LUTHERAN SCHOOLS WEEK: March 8 – 12 was Lutheran Schools Week. We celebrate our partnership in the
Northwest Lutheran School Association and we pray God’s continued blessings for our faculty staff & students. The following
Covenant members are serving at Northwest: Dennis Wallinger, Principal; Georgia Cucinello, Remedial & Enrichment; and Sherry
Voigt, Lower PE & Health
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY: On Wednesday, March 24, at 4:30 p.m. or after the service, we will be calling Northwest and
Childcare Families, checking to see if they got the mailing we sent out, wishing them a Happy Easter Holiday, and taking any
prayer requests. A script will be provided for those who have a hard time knowing what to say. Please sign-up on the Opportunity
Board if you are interested in helping. If you cannot attend at this time, you may request names and numbers to call on your own
time.
EQUIPPING TO SHARE: Habits become lifestyles with practice and repetition. Being an effective witness takes practice too,
doesn’t it? Learn techniques to help you share Jesus boldly and invite people into your church family! Come to the “Equipping to
Share” workshop on Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall. Continental Breakfast and Lunch will
be provided. Cost is $5 for members & $10 for non-members. Seating is limited. Call 414-464-2410 to register by Sunday,
April 13.
DINNER AUCTION: We invite you attend the Lutheran High School Association Auction “A Night For Kids Walks The Red
Carpet” on Friday, April 16 at the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha. The auction is to raise needed funds for student tuition
assistance for our area Lutheran High Schools: Martin Luther, Lake Country Lutheran, Milwaukee Lutheran. It will be an evening
full of new and exciting activities along with fabulous auction items.
SENTRY RECEIPTS: We save receipts from the stores on 77th & Lisbon and 92nd & Lisbon. Please don't forget the "Funds
for Friends" sticker on your receipt. All proceeds are currently going to Jadee Krueger’s family to help off-set some of her
