Rev. Steven Voigt - Senior Administrative Pastor
Pastor Steven Voigt was born and raised in Wisconsin. He attended public schools
in Kenosha and graduated from Bradford High School in 1983. Pastor Steve
graduated from Concordia College Wisconsin in 1987. Pastor and his wife, Sherry,
met in college and were married in 1988. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in
St. Louis in 1991 and served two congregations in Central Illinois from 1991 to 1995.
Pastor Voigt came to Covenant in the summer of 1995 and served as our Associate
Pastor. In 2001 he became our Senior Pastor.
Pastor and Sherry have been blessed with four children - Andrew (16), Joshua (14),
Stephanie (12) , and Emily (7). In his spare time Pastor Steve enjoys reading and
attending his children's sports activities. He is a huge sports fan - Packers, Badgers,
Bucks, Brewers. On most Friday nights you'll find him at a Milwaukee Lutheran High
School football or basketball game.
Pastor's parents are retired and live in Union Grove, Wisconsin. His brother, Pete,
lives in Trevor and sister, Rachel, lives in Sun Prairie.
